WINTER’S NEST

      090

Drizzling eyes

heavy skies

      sighing shadows

      lengthening nights

      Unspoken words

      spoken silences

     empty spaces

     empty nests

birds in flight

distantly destined.

    Dear Anjali,

Thank you for this poem. I also like very much the accompanying photograph. This poem is so full of meaning, each line taking this person down different paths.

    All good wishes,

  2. Wonderful Anjali. I especially liked, “spoken silences”. That one is powerful. Because oftentimes, there are silent screams heard in the deathliest of silences.

The part ” unspoken words and spoken silence” are so wonderfully phrased…Winter Nest is the perfect tile for the beautiful picture…
