Gold under my feet
scrunched up and unnoticed
Its beauty no lesser…
Gold in the heart
Hidden and unknown
Its love no less pure…
Gold in the earth
Undiscovered and covered
Its glow no dimmer…
So what if the gallery’s empty
So what if there’s no audience
So what if there’s no applause
Gold shines and beauty blooms
And love still spreads its fragrance
ย In a world
Unforgiving
This is beautiful Anjali.

Dear Anjali,
What a wonderful poem. I like it a lot. This is beautiful :). Thank you for sharing it here.
For me, this shares a truth that something that is beautiful is no more beautiful because we call it such, nor no less beautiful if we deny its beauty.
All good wishes,
robert
