Is the mirror happy?
Or is it sad?
Beautiful?
or is it bad?
To the seer it says –
Why do you ask
questions that I
Reflect back?
Wipe off the dust
And wash off the grime
See me reflect the
Light
that shines
within!

Dear Anjali,
What a truly wonderful poem!
That is our role, isn’t it, to wipe the dust off of our self, and wash it free of grime. Then, through clearer lenses we see.
Thank you so much for this.
All good wishes,
robert

The “Lens” is a far more interesting manifestation of glass.
You view the mirror through it. You are viewed through it by others.
Does a clean glass guarantee a true reflection or does a good lens does so, or both?
Perhaps the mirror is happy or sad depending on the lens through which you view it.
