ABOUT

 ANJALI DESHPANDE

India born, Londoner, Anjali has always loved all forms of the written word, be it Prose or Poetry and enjoys expressing in both. Blogging was a very fertile environment within which to write and express and also to reach out to other writers and readers. The transition to serious writing in the form of a Novel was a very natural one and her novel now stands completed. It’s been a truly satisfying part of her writing journey and she knows it won’t be her last!

She has a background in Chemistry, Educational Psychology and Philosophy and has a deep desire to connect with humanity. Her work with the destitute and disenfranchised have left their mark on her. She is deeply humbled and inspired by the courage of those she has met. She feels strongly about issues affecting women and her short stories and novel seek to tell their stories.

Her most recent publication:

Poetry published in the Fall edition DELIGHT of the Journal WHEN WOMEN WAKEN (2014)

Writer of : DISOWNED (a novel)

Published Poetry Anthology: MIRACLES OF NATURE

Thank you so much for an incredible comment. What I know is that we all have love and we feel love, then we need to share our love with others for the benefit of entire world. God bless you too.

    • Thank you for your kind words and sharing your love with the world, there is such a lack of it in the world – we all need to follow your example and share the love. 🙂

  6. I am so humbled by your decision to follow Learning from Dogs. You will find that a wide range of topics come up but always with the same underlying theme: the need for integrity and love. As our dogs offer us every day of their lives. Best wishes, Paul

    • Thank you Paul for dropping by and your comment. I perused your blog and really enjoyed the posts and the theme. I do not own a dog but some of my family and friends do – and I totally agree with you – they give love so unconditionally! Something we human beings must learn! It’s the need of the hour. Thank you once again.

    Dear Anjali,

Thank you for this about yourself. So you’re a Londoner. That’s far away from me. And yet it doesn’t feel that far.

    All good wishes,
